The One Before the Concert

Hey, everybody! Phew! You know, I really thought that I would have time to write another post before now, but I have had no time at all! I did have yesterday evening off, so I was excited about getting some of the stuff done that has been piling up around my house this week. And by stuff, I mean clothes. Seriously. I lost Bear for a while. I finally found him and gently pulled toward the food and water bowls so that he would not expire only to realize I had picked up a sweater.

Never did find the dog, come to think of it. Oops.

Oh, I'm kidding! Come on, it was a joke!

Anyway, so found myself with time to do laundry last night. But I went to sleep instead. After dozing off in class twice yesterday afternoon, I decided to spend my time catching up on all the sleep I have missed this week. Sad, right? Notsomuch? What if I told you that I dozed off twice...in the same class. Certainly made time pass more quickly and luckily, I don't think I was snoring. ;-) Sorry, Chad!

Anyway, I finished with two tests today (Diction and Musicianship Part 1) and I just have one more to go (Musicianship Part 2). Then I have one more class (Poli Sci. Ug.), then dinner at Dock's (never been there before), and finally a concert! Yikes...not much on the sleep-o-meter today! This is my second concert this week, like I think I told you before and it should be awesome! I will try to put video up, but since I will be on stage, no promises! I wish you all could come see it. I have decided that all of my friends should move to Texas. And to Cali when I take off out there. We'll just get a really big house, cool?

Does that make me a selfish person? :-D

Anyway, I hope you all have a spectacular weekend because IT STARTS TOMORROW! WOO HOOOOOOO!!!

  • The concert was excellent - except for the lady who had the coughing fit in the first number. Fortunately, she recovered enough to come back during the fourth one and made it through the rest. We all decided "Ngana" was our favorite. Although, that "Alleluia" was so unique and fun, that in my opinion, it was a close second.

  • I'm sure I missed a fantastic concert!

On a side note, I would like to thank you for saying "anyway" instead of "anywayS." One of my many language pet peeves that people use frequently. :-)

P.S. to Emily - Canada would be fun, I'm sure... except I enjoy being able to swim in the lake in May, and I'm a stupid American who doesn't understand the metric system. Sorry! :-)
