The One Without a Title
Current Mood: Peaceful, Content, Thoughtful
Current Music: "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt from Back to Bedlam
Have I ever told you how much I love this song? No, of course not. I don't mention it often because it has a very nasty word in it that I hate, but I do. I love it. It fits my mood at the moment. When I listen to "You're Beautiful," I think of a guy sitting in the corner of a cafe somewhere sipping coffee and watching the girl of his dreams across the room. By the way, if you haven't heard this song yet, then please click HERE and have a listen. This is the myspace of someone I knew from high school and she has it playing on her page.
So, would you like to hear something embarrassing about me? Ha. Of course you would. I KNOW how you guys think. Don't lie to me! "Yes, please, Jay! More fodder for the make fun of you folder! Woo hoo!" Maybe you wouldn't say Woo hoo, maybe that's just me, but then again...maybe you would. Anyway...on with the humiliation. Every time I hear this song, I think of Bethany Joy Lenz. I know, I know. Sad, sad, sad little man. But actually LISTEN to it, and I think you'll understand why. And if you don't....whatever. We're not friends anymore.
Jenn is having a Valentine's Day party in the living room at the moment. I think it's cool that she does things like that. I really hate having people over. How horrible is that? Oh, by the way...I don't really have anything to say, but I feel like writing, so I am just going to put down random thoughts. Back on track. I hate having people over. Seriously, my house is like my own little haven in a psycho-mutant world and I really don't like letting other people in. I am not the trusting type. Did you know that? Oh come on, now...just because I told you that my name is Bafufta McGoganal when we first met and I spoke with a Scottish accent does not mean that I don't trust YOU!!! :-) Hee hee hee. Anyway, I have all these different facets of my personality. There's Reader-Jay, ComputerGeek-Jay, Writer-Jay, Singer-Jay, Box-Jay (Smile proudly if you get that one), TV-Jay, Chef-Jay, Ocean-Jay...the list goes on. Each new friend that I make learns about a certain set of these facets and from that they deduce all that they know of me. But someone who comes over to my home sees all the other quirks of my being that are completely unknown.
This usually leads to a fun "What? You don't do that!" kind of conversation. I love having to prove that I am who I am. You know those new friends that I've made at Baylor? The ones that I have been hanging out with on Monday or Thursday nights? They have never been over here. Daniel, I have known since high school and he has yet to set foot in my room. In FACT, I'm not sure he ever came to my house in high school either. Interesting...
I am out of things to write, but I just remembered that I have pictures to show you! I take my camera with me pretty much wherever I go and I decided to take some pictures of Baylor so that you all can see where I spend ALL OF MY TIME!!!!!! Hang on, let me upload. Be right back.
This is where I sit and read on days when it is not too hot in this ridiculous state. It's nice, right?
And this is the backside of the Draper Academuc Building. Technically, this is an entirely different building, but I don't know it's name. Doesn't it look collegiate?
And this was the random sight that greeted me last week as I walked through the quadrangle.
Yes. That is a tight-rope walker. On campus.
And this is the Carroll Science Building. By far, my favorite building because of its entirely wood interior. I LOVE IT! I like to sit in the lobby and read....until other people show up.
Okay! That's it. I am all done. Have a good weekend!!!

Fun post. Daniel did come to our house - maybe more than once, and I think he might have been there when Grammy and Poppa were in town.

So I'm assuming you hate the word beautiful, because hating "you're" doesn't make much sense. So... going to elaborate on that any? Why? There are many beautiful things in the world.
Haha... I've been to one of your houses. And even seen the Lion's Den. Although I'm not sure if you knew I peeked into your room. I was just curious. It was very messy. :-) lol. Wait, I had a reason! Bear wanted back in after a potty break and you weren't home.
See? I'm not a snoop after all!

Wow, you guys are all nuts. ;-) Said with MUCH LOVE!!!
Suz- YEAH, BABY! Comin' to Baylor!! You can just go ahead and mark all those others off the list right now.... ;-) You and Diana need to come up here sometime for the royal tour! It would be GRAND!
Diana-oh please. I don't feel anything more needs to be said.
Amber-Okay....I didn't say a word in the title in the song. I said a word IN the song! Sheesh (I just wrote sheesh. Whoops. Spend a year with Seth, talk like Seth ;-) If you can't figure out which word I don't like....um, I think you and I are going to have to have a little chat...

HAHAHA okay, I know which word you're talking about now. They always bleep it out when it comes on the radio and I never paid much attention to what was there. Agreed, I despise that word too. It's right up there with... well, other unmentionable words that I despise. :-)
