The One at 4 in the Morning

WHAT UP, WORLD?!?!?!?!

Yes, yes it IS 4:00 in the morning, what of it? :-) Why am I up this late, you ask?

And thanks for asking, by the way. I am a sucker for polite people.

The truth is, I have no idea why I am still up and ready to rock at 4 in the morning...not that I'm complaining. Summer oficials ends on Thursday, so dern it, I AM GOING TO ENJOY MY LAST DAY OF FREEDOM! All 24 hours of it.

The truth is, I am rocking out to an absolutely AMAZING song. There is an a capella group at USC that is, hands down, the BEST group I have ever heard (Seth, insert jealousy here). I actually ran across Reverse Osmosis on YouTube when I was searching for (get this) reverse osmosis (a water purification process) videos online. Anyway, I am reasonably certain that I posted this video already as a link, but I am so unbelievably hooked on it that I wanted to really do it justice.

This video is Reverse Osmosis performing "Sugar, We're Going Down" by Fall Out Boy. Now, this is my favorite Fall Out Boy song of all time and I think.....yes, I am almost certain...that I like this version better. IT'S SO GOOD! Seriously makes me wish I had gone to school out in California. It would be worth it just to be in this group. So, here you go. Enjoy.

AMAZING, right? See, I knew you'd love it. That's why you are the coolest ever.

So, I apologize for the lack of postage lately. I owe you guys so much! First of all, I have a whole HUGE list of songs that need a rotation in the player (I'll get on that tomorrow) and I also talked about giving the site a facelift. Well, I still want to do that, but I don't know when I am going to have time. Things are...busy...right now.

OH! I was also gonna tell you what news I have. Well, first of all, I am no longer employed by First Baptist Church Dallas. It was decided that since I am not a music major any more, my internship would not be renewed for a second year. So, instead of having to worry about how to "fire" me, Grady asked that I resign. Last Thursday was my last day and I have to admit that it is nice to be free! I do miss it, I loved my job...but there are also aspects that are nice to be rid of.

Use your imagination. I am DEFINITELY gonna miss the choir, though! Goodbye, Chapel!!

Oh, by the way, I am not going to be a sponsor this year either...sorry if this is a surprise. Sometimes I don't always think my announcements all the way through.

And also by the way, anybody have a job they want to give me? :-) Just putting that out there.

This is a dumb post. I really just wanted to put that video up, and I decided I should write something too. Hee hee hee. Tomorrow is half-hearted packing day. We'll see how much I get done. Adios, all!!
