The One With the Solo

So.....can you guess what I did this weekend? :-) I wish I could write smilies in all caps so that I could make them look all excited and stuff.

Stop laughing at me.

We're not friends anymore.

Okay, but ONLY because you said you're sorry.

Anyway, I went to Kurten this weekend to sing with the Zion Choir and had a blast! Perfect Easterness. Here is the video of my solo...I hope you like it (but if you don't, lie to me)! It's pretty good for rehearsing for the first time the day before, right? SAY NICE THINGS ABOUT IT! Please!!

This part was going to contain a link to the paper I just finished for one of my classes, but my stupid, hateful, arrogant, obnoxious computer that hates me is no longer recognizing USB devices. Worthless.

Worthless
Worthless
Worthless.

Did I tell you that I am getting a new computer?

Here is a picture of it

Ain't it puuuuurdy? And yes, it's a mac. I am so tired of dealing with Windows' junk. Hooray for stable operating systems!! [Insert angelic choir here]. Anyway.........

I have other things to tell you, but I have to head up to Ovilla to work on a project with Truett and hopefully hang out with SARA! SARA, CHECK YOUR MESSAGES!!

Part 2 coming up later! OH! And new music about which I am particularly excited! You know what, I'll do that now before I leave. Just for you.

  • `Course I'm just your mother, but I wish you'd told us you had this solo - we'd have come to hear you! It's great. I'm proud of you.

  • WOW... What a video.... I wonder who could take such an amazing quality video?... maybe that is why it sounded so great...
    JUST KIDDING!
You're amazing... but you already knew that. It was fun!

  • Hee hee hee. Ooops, sorry, Mom. If you had driven all the way to Kurten, who would have taught Grandma to say "Bling, bling" at lunch? :-)

And yes, Diana took the video. Woo hoo. Kudos to her. Sheesh, such a narcisist!! Kidding! Just kidding!!

  • If I knew exactly what that word meant, maybe I could respond accordingly (I just know that it was a cutdown... wow I'm dumb)... but I don't... so I'll live with the insult.
