I'm BACK!

Are you excited? You should be! I know it's been forever since I last wrote you a nice little note, but I am just so dern busy! In fact, I am kinda on borrowed time at the moment as it is. I should be memorizing "An Die Muzik." But I'm NOOOOOOTTTTTT! :-)

Tomorrow, my entire office (the entire church actually) is GOING TO THE FAIR! Woo hoo! SO, if you are bored, feel free to join us. Just give me a call and I will tell you where we can meet up. Yes, I'm serious. What? I like people. I'm almost certain I do.

Anyway, there is a lot that I could tell you about what's been going on, but it would make for a long and uninteresting post. And we can't have that, now can we? I would MUCH rather tell you about how I am a RUNNER UP IN THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL!!!!

Yeah, TOTALLY kidding. But then, you didn't believe that, did you? 'Cause you know me better than that! So, I am not going to catch you up with the past few months, but I will keep you posted with everything new from this point forward, you have my word!

P.P.S. Alrighty, where do I begin?

This first one is by a new band out of Waxahachie. Truett and I went to the Lighthouse to hear them last week and I was impressed! It's been a long while since I found a high school group that really had potential. And these guys have it! Rise and Shine! Tell me what you think!

And THIS ONE? Have you ever run across a song that makes you want to get up and DO something? That's what Wunderkind does for me. I can listen to it over and over and over and over and not get tired of it!

Same story with this little diddy from Impgen Heap. Over and over without end. I just love the imagery. Both of these songs are from the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack, which you should definitely consider purchasing!

Um....hats off to Amber for this one, the COVER QUEEN of the Western world! Just kidding, AmBertha. But, she DID send me this song, and she has my undying gratitude for that. One of the best covers I've heard in a while. As always, have a listen and tell me what you think!
