The One With the Christmas Lights
Hey, everybody! I hope that thus far you are having a BRILLIANT December and Advent Season! In honor of Day 2, I am giving you yet another gift. Don't you feel special? You SHOULD! I know that yesterday's gift is loads of fun, but once you get finished, it leaves little of a lasting effect. So...Today I give you the means to make your computer as festive as those really big houses we all make a point of driving by each year. Not sure what I mean? Click the link and find out! And enjoy! Merry Christmas!
The end of the semester is so close, I can taste it!
And it tastes like chocolate.
No sugar added, just pure cacao. As in, I know that there is potential for deliciousness, but as of now, the taste overrunning my senses is a little bit bitter. Exams, exams, exams. Spurn of the college existence. In the next week, I have two exams and three papers to write. Hahahaha. YEAH!!! I am glad about the papers. It is always much nicer (for me) to write a paper than take an actual written exam...those are KILLERS! Plus, papers I get to do at my leisure in the comfort of my own home (that is, if I ever get my home cleaned up - Oh, where does the time go?) instead of sitting in a stuffy classroom that is FAR too quiet!
Do you work better with music? I work WAY better with music. One of my professors even mentioned that he was sorry that headphones weren't allowed in class because he knows that some students perform better with some tunes in the background.
Of course, with ME...that can be a distraction to everyone else. I tend to sing along sometimes. Without even realizing it. Ask the guys at Starbucks tonight. They were playing the CD that my mom bought for me a few weeks ago and I was jamming along...embarrassing. I'll survive.
And probably do it again. Ah, such is my life.
Oh! That brings me to my next topic! The only downside to having radio stations play Christmas music is that I hear all these songs that I MUST purchase! Right now, I really have it narrowed down to two that I want. First and formost, Josh Groban singing "Believe" from the Polar Express soundtrack? Um, yeah! Must buy! The rest of the CD is probably blah, but I'll get it anyway. Hang on, let me look. Yeah, it's mediocre. But I can live with that. I LOVE THAT SONG! The second song is this zydeco rendition of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus." Hee hee hee, I love it too! Must find, must find.
Anyway, like I said, I hope this week has been great for you. Drop me a line if you get a chance! Or come talk to me on Ventrilo!
OH!!! I almost forgot! Do to circumstances well within my control, but ones that I have no desire to change, the date for VTCII has been changed to Thursday, December 15th. If this date is going to be a problem for anyone, PLEASE let me know. I will gladly move the date until we can accomadate everyone! I do NOT want you to miss out, whoever you may be! Good night, all!

Ummm so I love the Christmas lights.....one problem....I don't know how to get them off of my dads computer! :-O Help me please!!!

To Emily: If you just clicked on "RUN" to get the lights going, simply reboot the computer. If you saved it, you will need to find the file and delete it.
